A weekly site fee of $110.50 covers the maintenance of all common areas including the community centre, the gated security, landscaping and council rates. Centrelink has advised rent assistance is available for pensioners who qualify – up to $52.00 per week for a single person and $49.00 per week for a couple. When selling, the Capital Replacement contribution is 1% per annum to a maximum of 12% of the INITIAL PURCHASES price. Any subsequent capital gain upon sale of a house is retained by the home owner.
Government Financial Assistance
Because of our unique Site Fee structure, significant financial assistance is available to home owners who are eligible pensioners. Kingfisher Gardens Lifestyle Village is covered under the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks ) ACT 2003 Act which means your weekly site fee can be subsidised.
